I recently watched Gaspar NoƩ's "Enter The Void" and really liked the atmosphere of the movie and it's signature look. I recreated the corner of the brother and sisters apartment, including additions and tweaks of my own.

Welcome Home, Cherokee Rose (UDK Handpainted Scene)

Inspired by Telltale's The Walking Dead game. I used a concept by Artyom Vlaskin as a foundation and integrated into The Walking Dead's world. Other inspirations were drawn from the movie Seven and the televesion series Broadchurch. The environment is mostly made up of handpainted tileable textures and is set up in UDK.

In the last couple of years, my focus has been to learn how to tell stories through environments by pushing atmospherics, character, lighting and composition. A lot of the time I draw inspiration from peoples experiences as well as all artforms including traditional art, music, film, dance and photography.

Most recently, I've been familiarising myself with the Physically Based Rendering workflow and keeping up to date with where the industry is headed.
